15 month stats

Still a very little lady... 16 lbs 3 oz. Guess that front facing car seat won't be coming for quite a while! Her height was in the 20th percentile and her head is in the 50th. She got two shots and the doctor has me convinced that she will get most of her top teeth all at one time because they look so close. Lucky us!

Great Grandparents!

I had to share this awesome fact...in just 7 days, a little over a week ago, Haley spent time with all 5 of her Great Grandparents! She saw Grandpa Mads when Uncle Robert visited, Grandma Pearl on our road trip, Harold & Marilyn watched her for a half day while we were at work and then we finished off the week with lunch with Grandma Esther. It is really great that Haley has 5 Great Grandparents, but to say she saw all of them at separate times over a week, is amazing! What a blessed little lady :)

Road Trip!

The weekend before last we took our first little road trip with Haley to see her Great Grandma Pearl. We stayed with my Aunt Diane and Uncle Scott and had a wonderful weekend. Haley was instantly comfortable with Great Grandma, sitting on her lap, showing her books and saying "Hi!" She loves to tilt herself completely sideways :)
Watching the mouse play and the cat jump up and over the cage... I really hope there never comes a day when Haley asks for a mouse as a pet!
With Great Grandma and Great Aunt Karen with the adorable doll they got her...
A horse!
Playing on a trampoline for the first time - she loved it!

The zoo!

Jeff and I both had the day off yesterday so we took Haley to the zoo for the first time! She liked watching some of the animals but I think she was more interested in people watching and just being outside :) Such a nice day!
Checking out the camels with Daddy...
Dippin Dots?! Yum!
Hugging Daddy tight while watching the rhino eat lunch...
Haley's new friends McKenna and Olivia, daughters of some friends from high school.
Running along with PaPa (Grandpa Steve) brought all kinds of giggling & smiles!
Watching the monkey play in the grass...
What a great day we had!!!

The bunny incident

We had quite the excitement on Thursday! I saw that a baby bunny had fallen into our window well so when Jeff got home, I asked him to rescue it. He went through the basement window and came back upstairs with a box with 2 baby bunnies! Poor little guys! Anyway, Jeff was showing them to Haley while I videotaped and all of a sudden one came jumping out of the box at me! I screamed which made Haley cry and then we spent the next 20 minutes trying to catch the bunny as it went under, behind and around our couch. It's pretty funny now but you won't see me signing up to own a rabbit anytime soon! Once we finally got the bunny near the door, Jeff let it out but our screen door was shut and it got stuck between the doors. It was horrible for Hemi but we got to show Haley what a bunny rabbit was...
