This week

Happy Anniversary!

Jeff and I have been married for 5 years! To celebrate we took a one day trip up to Idaho Springs while Haley stayed with my parents. We stayed at the Indian Hot Springs Resort and it was wonderful. We got massages, went to great restaurants, had an outdoor jacuzzi and took a drive up to Mount Evans. The temperature dropped from 75 to 40 over the course of our drive up the mountain and we even went through snow and hail!

The top of Mount Evans... There was lightning in the area so the ranger told us to get back in our car. That was fine with us - we couldn't see anything with the clouds and who wants to be around lightning!
It was a wonderful little trip but we were very excited when we got to see our little lady again. We missed her! :)

Just for fun

Haley asleep in her swing - look how big she is now! Jeff was trying to teach Haley to say Da-da but she had something else in mind. We think she's trying to learn how to blow raspberries or bubbles or kisses or maybe even trying to laugh :) Check out the videos!

4 months old

By far, the number one hardest thing about being a parent is seeing your child in pain. Haley had her 4 month checkup and vaccinations today and it was so hard watching her get the shots but so much worse to hear her cries and see her face. The rest of her appointment went really well though. For those of you that have been guessing, Haley now weighs in at 10 lbs 2 oz, still in <3% range but she's growing at a rate her doctor is very happy with. Her other measurements were height at 23 1/2" (20th percentile) and her head circumference was 16" (40th percentile). So...she's skinny, tall and smart :)

Haley's First Wedding

Haley's first wedding was for my second cousin James and his wife Luz... Haley in her Cinderella party dress (and her bunny wrist rattle that she loves!)...
James met Haley for the first time at the wedding. She did really good and probably loved being held so much by all of her relatives :)

Father's Day!

Happy First Father's Day Jeff!!! We had a full weekend of fun times with both families...Being silly with Daddy in her Flag Day dress... So precious holding Grampa's face :)
