Over Halloween weekend we took a trip to the mountains for the men to hunt and the girls & kids to hang out :) Haley (20 months) and her friend Gavin (14 months) spent a lot of time playing together. Here they are investigating the technology available... Can you see me? I'm hiding in the tent!

Both of them were monkeys for Halloween!

Haley and Gavin love books so if I was reading to Haley, Gavin would climb on my lap too and if Michelle was reading to Gavin, Haley would do the same.

Trick or Treating

The neighborhood across from ours had a trick or treat street through their model homes the week before Halloween. It was perfect for Haley - 6 houses, a pumpkin patch, and a deejay in the street. Here's Haley walking with her Mommy and Aunt Juliana :) Bapa dressed up with Haley and Momo took her from house to house...

Haley's got a cold

I'm watching Haley eat her first Pedialyte freezer pop and she loves it! The cold must feel good against her poor throat. She started with a fever of 102 for Sat night to Mon morning, then it stayed around 100 for a day and then the last two days she has been without a fever but with a terrible cough. I wish I could do more to make her feel better! One thing I did do...I put up the Christmas tree and covered it with lights! Totally unrelated but she was in love with the little white lights and it kept a smile on her face. :)

Someone's excited for Halloween! I kept trying to get a good picture, but after a few tries, decided to let the professionals give it a shot :)

Haley & Christy's week of fun!

I took this week off of work and Haley & I tried to do at least one fun thing every day :) On Monday, we went to the toddler storytime at the library. Tuesday we went to see GG and went to lunch. On Wednesday, we went to a local children's museum. It was great because we got there when it opened and Haley only had to share the whole building with one other girl for quite a while. They had matching bows and pink outfits - so cute! On Thursday, we went to another library storytime and then Haley got her first haircut from her Aunt Laura! Today we are going to get pictures with Haley in her monkey costume. What a week - I loved it!

Sitting in a booster seat after her first haircut... Haley loves her Aunt Laura so she was very calm the whole time her hair was getting cut. Hopefully now her hair will grow faster so that it will be a bit warmer for the winter :)

Potty Training

What a big girl! Haley just started tugging on her pants saying "off" so we took off her diaper and let her head over to her little potty chair. After some quiet moments, she said "Done!", stood up, and sure enough, she used her potty chair for the first time!!! We've had the chair in her bathroom for a while and she loves to sit on it, but we haven't been actively trying to potty train her yet - we are just sitting here in amazement and had to write about it :)

First boo-boo & a new car seat!

It took quite a while to empty the basket but only seconds to fall in. So bad - I had to get the picture before helping her out :) Reading stories before bedtime with Aunt Juliana, Packer and Griswold...

First Boo-boo. Well, she's had plenty of them before this but this one's the first that she actually calls a boo-boo. It has been a couple weeks and Haley still says that and points to her knee.

Haley's hair is growing! There is just enough there to have her first set of pigtails :)

Haley just figured out that she's able to make the whale bounce around :) Mommy & Haley are about to go down the slide!

There were tons of other things to play on but all Haley wanted to do was crawl through, look in, and climb out of the log :)
