Christmas with Godparents

Haley's Godparents, Eric & Lindsey, are in town this week and came over on Thursday night for dinner. They brought a gift for Haley with them and she had a lot of fun with the wrapping paper :) Cool! A box!

It was a little past Haley's bed time by the time it was all finished so she wouldn't smile very much. We tried to trick her by giving her some of her bottle but didn't ever catch her at the right moment :)

Packer & Griswold came to visit

My sister and brother-in-law went out of town so we got to watch their two dogs for a night. Haley was in heaven with 3 pup-pups to watch and they were fascinated by her! Plus, every now and then she'd put one of her puffs on the floor for them to eat :)

9 month pictures - Merry Christmas!

Oh my gosh, could the first one be any cuter?! I couldn't help it - I bought the first two in a bigger size and I'm using them as part of our Christmas decorations. So precious!

Christmas party

We hosted the annual Christmas party for my Mom's side of the family this year. This morning when we woke up to all of the snow, we thought we'd be eating a whole turkey by ourselves, but the weather cleared up and most were still able to make it. Almost mobile - yikes!

Haley now pushes up onto her hands and knees and just rocks a little bit. Then she follows that by laying on her stomach with her arms stretched out and kicks her feet frantically. She is going to be crawling very soon! If that's the case, Jeff and I have a lot of baby proofing in the near future!

Let's go swimming!

Haley had her first two swim lessons - Monday with Jeff and Wednesday with me. Luckily, my Mom was able to come along with both of us for help with everything as well as to take pictures! Haley loved playing in the water!

Haley really must have had fun with Jeff in the pool because when she saw the water today, she got REALLY excited :)
There was supposed to be one other baby in the class but he didn't show up so we had private lessons on both days.Swimming around the lazy river, chasing the orange ping pong ball...1...2...3...Jump!
