Update

Haley's 9 month doctor visit was last week and it went pretty well. She weighed in at 13 lbs 8 oz which sadly is even farther under the curve than she already was. The doctor said that she often sees a plateau in weight gain at around 9 months, but since Haley was already small, she was concerned that there might be something else going on. So, instead of the heel prick that she was supposed to get, she had to have blood drawn from her arm for multiple tests. It was sad watching her in pain and, the even sadder part, the phone call saying that they didn't get enough blood and that they'd have to do it again. She actually had to have blood drawn again anyway though because the first results that came back showed an issue with her thyroid hormones. We went to a different lab on Saturday and it was an amazing difference! It was fast, Haley didn't cry as much and they got more than double the amount of blood. And, the great news this morning...her thyroid hormones, and everything else they tested for, is normal!

Getting ready for Christmas

Haley is loving every Christmas decoration that we put up in the house. She especially loves the Santa with the rattle inside that used to be her Daddy's when he was little.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had Thanksgiving dinner over at my parent's house and by the end Haley was worn out! Haley loves Grammie and her jewelry!

Looks like Haley and Juliana are ready for some turkey... Well... Haley may not have had turkey but she sure enjoyed some sweet potatoes that her Great Grandma made especially for her.

Hunting weekend

Last weekend was the annual friends and family hunting trip. It was a fun-filled few days (even with some sleepless nights)! Haley with her new friends Kaitlyn and Katrina, my friend Kyla's twin three year olds. Haley loved their glitter and wings! These three ladies were a huge hit at work - we don't see many kids around the office :)
