Activity Center

Haley is loving her activity center from Marty & Phyllis! At first it was information overload and she couldn't stay in it longer than a couple minutes but now she is fascinated by it. She even spins herself around to see everything. Her two favorite pieces are the sun and the dials to turn.

Go Broncos!

Yay! The Broncos won today! I bet it was because we were both in our jerseys... We're teaching her about our team right from the start :)

My co-workers

Haley and I made a visit to my work picnic to meet some friends. Kyla, on the right, and I work on the same team and she's given me tons of great advice. She has twin 3 year old girls so she has a lot of knowledge to share :) Jenna is in the middle and she is due to have her baby in October. Kevin is my officemate and, with three kids of his own, also has some great advice. Haley was awesome - very calm and she let everyone hold her.

Cabin

We spent a few days up at the cabin in Fairplay this weekend. It was great just relaxing as a family :) Haley and her Daddy enjoying the rustling leaves on the deck...

Presents, eating and drinking

Opening 6 month old presents from GG and Grammie. She loves the sound of tissue paper! Trying out her sippy cup from my friend Cari...she loved the cup but hated the water inside it :) Too bad I wasn't fast enough to catch the face she made on camera!

6 months old!

Haley turned 6 months old on Monday! Time flies! She went in for her checkup today and it went great. Her numbers...weight: 11 lbs, 13 oz (<3%); height: 25 1/4 in (30%); and head: 16 3/4 in (50%). She had to get 3 shots again and it was just as hard as last time. Luckily, she hasn't been running a fever so that's very good.

Jeff and I feel so lucky every day that we have Haley. She is everything we ever wanted and we love coming home to her. Our favorite time of day is when she wakes up in the morning and gives us a huge smile while she's talking away in her crib. We have so many nicknames for our little lady - Jeff's latest is "lil' munch".
